We won a Feed-In-Tariff award from Nevada Energy for a 26 MW solar PV project. At the time of its award, it was the largest utility-scale solar PV project in the US.  We overcame multiple obstacles and navigated delays to investigate and address rare desert tortoises that might be impacted by project construction, and to clarify site rights-of-way concerning the federal Bureau of Land Management jurisdiction that went to FERC arbitration. The project’s economic value was enhanced by the extended development phase. We moved the project to construction-readiness, secured a development partner and project financing with D.E. Shaw, a global investment and technology development firm with $32 billion in assets.
